Stargate Universe Season 1.5 Trailer

SyFy has unleashed a new Stargate Universe to promote the second part of Season 1 which is set to premiere on April 2, 2010:

Looks like SGU will reach a new level of action with the upcoming new episodes!
:)

Syfy Stargate Universe Trailer

SyFy has released a new trailer of Stargate Universe, and at long last but not least, we have the real deal! Oh Good, fool I was to doubt that Stargate Universe would be awesome. Enjoy below the new Stargate Universe trailer:

STARGATE UNIVERSE Comic Con Trailer

A gateway that was supposed to bring them home...
took them to the other side of the universe!

From the makers of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis
comes the story of a group of survivors,
who have lost everything...
Except hope!
This Fall
New Worlds, Ancient Mysteries, Extraordinary Adventure.

Where will Destiny take you?
I really like this new take on the Stargate franchise. Stargate Universe is much more mature than the tho other series: it will for sure mark the Stargate franchise for the best. And my geek soul was damn happy to see Richard Dean Anderson as Jack O'Neill appearing at the beginning of this Stargate Universe trailer!

Here's another Stargate Universe trailer shown during the comic con:

By the way and Stargate Universe is now scheduled to debut on October 2, 2009 as a two-hour movie and then begin regular weekly airings on Syfy in the United States in October 2009.
:)

New Stargate Universe Trailer

The latest trailer of Stargate Universe, aka SGU, is somewhat better than the previous one, well it does rekindle my interest in SGU:

Stargate Universe - Survive
This October, Syfy reinvents the wheel
So they're going to survive, they're even going to make it home. Well, I think so too: it wouldn't be a series faithful to the Stargate franchise if the heroes were doomed at the end.
:)

Stargate Universe SGU Trailer

A new Stargate Universe trailer has shown up, and I can't say I'm hooked... Well, check for yourself:

SG-U

Home: A memory
Safety: a myth
Trust: a mistake

The only mission is survival!
I really dislike this watery music in the background: it really spoils this Stargate Universe trailer. And because of this ill-chosen soundtrack I'm already pissed off by the whining chubby boy in red shirt (David Blue as Eli Wallace)...

Can't leave on such an impression so I turned off the sound, and guess what: it saves the thing! I had more focus on details , and I'm more confident that this is indeed a show spawned from the Stargate franchise.

Really what were they thinking about when releasing this trailer of Stargate Universe: do they want to kill the show even before it starts to air?
:)

Stragte Universe Trailer

SyFy has aired a trailer of Stargate Universe after the final episode of Battlestar Galactica. Here it is:

STARGATE UNIVERSE

The only mission is survival.

"Stargate Universe aims to delight veteran fans, but also appeal to newcomers who may not necessarily know the difference between an Alteran and an Asuran. In many ways it is a much more cerebral and mature addition to the franchise. While firmly entrenched in pre-established Stargate mythology, Stargate Universe definitely strikes out in an exciting new direction."

Stargate Atlantis producer Joseph Mallozzi

If this short preview clip of Stargate Universe is a significant sample from the show then SGU will be darker than the rest of the franchise, and indeed somewhat more mature. Maybe sthis new direction has been influenced by the success of BSG.
Well, I don't mind: I say bring it on! The sooner Stargate Universe will start to air the better it will be!
:)

Stargate Universe Teaser Trailer

A teaser trailer of Stargate Universe was shown just after the last episode of Stargate Atlantis. I missed it, but a fellow Stargate fan recorded the Stargate Universe clip for us to enjoy too:

STARGATE UNIVERSE

The journey home is the greatest adventure of all!
So that's just a teaser of Stargate Universe. But principal photography for Stargate Universe began a few days ago at The Bridge Studios in Vancouver, Canada.

So we shall have a Stargate Universe trailer in the next few months I hope!
